CRATERE CONCRETE is a design-focused studio dedicated to creating handcrafted planters and décor pieces that combine durability with minimalist aesthetics. Born in 2021, Cratere Concrete was established with a vision to create thoughtfully crafted products from one of the world's most powerful and timeless materials: concrete.
Concrete is our medium. Creativity is our craft.
A crater is formed by immense force and time — leaving behind a powerful and unique form. Inspired by this idea, Cratere Concrete represents strength, raw beauty, and the transformation of natural forces into lasting creations. Just like a crater shapes the earth, we shape concrete into distinctive designs that leave a lasting impression.

At CRATERE CONCRETE, every product is developed through a meticulous process that combines design thinking, material research, and skilled craftsmanship. By managing every stage in-house, we maintain complete control over precision, finish quality, and consistency.
Each product begins with a design phase where form, proportion, structural integrity, and material behavior are carefully studied. Concrete is a dynamic material, and understanding how it behaves in different forms and thicknesses is essential to achieving both aesthetic and functional balance.
Once the design is finalized, a full-scale prototype is created. This stage focuses on refining geometry, surface quality, and detailing. Achieving a clean and precise prototype requires careful shaping, correction, and finishing, as it becomes the master reference for the final product.
After the prototype is perfected, we fabricate a Fiber Reinforced Plastic (FRP) mold. Mold making is a highly specialized process that determines the dimensional accuracy and surface quality of the final product. The mold must be engineered to withstand repeated casting cycles while preserving fine design details.
The casting stage involves a carefully formulated design mix that has been developed and refined over time. This mix is engineered to achieve optimal workability, strength, and surface finish. Precision in mixing, pouring, and vibration ensures that the concrete fills the mold evenly and eliminates imperfections.
Concrete gains its strength through curing. Our products undergo a controlled curing process to allow proper hydration and structural development. While concrete typically reaches its full design strength over 28 days, an initial curing period of at least 7 days is essential before further processing.
After curing, each piece undergoes a detailed finishing process. This includes surface refinement and quality inspection to ensure the final product meets our standards for texture, consistency, and durability. Finishing concrete to a refined level requires highly skilled craftsmanship and a deep understanding of the material.
Through continuous experimentation and refinement, we have developed a proprietary concrete mix and production process that allows us to reproduce designs with precision and consistency — ensuring every piece maintains the same level of quality, strength, and aesthetic character.
Every Cratere piece begins as an idea — explored through sketches, form studies, and material tests. A full-scale prototype is hand-built, refined, and corrected until it becomes the master reference. This stage is unhurried; precision here determines the quality of everything that follows.
Our FRP molds are fabricated with engineering-grade precision to reproduce geometry faithfully across hundreds of casting cycles. The proprietary GRC mix — with glass fibre reinforcement — is poured, vibrated, and cured under controlled conditions, delivering strength and surface quality simultaneously.
After a minimum 7-day initial cure, each piece is hand-finished: surface defects corrected, edges refined, and texture made consistent. A final quality inspection is completed before packaging. The result is a concrete object that reflects the care taken at every stage of its production.
